Manage your account and preferences

Update your profile, set planner defaults, recover your password, and understand what is saved locally.

Open profile settings

Update your profile

Open Edit Profile from your account menu. Update the fields you want to change, such as your avatar, bio, and location, then save the form.

Profile visibility controls let you choose whether to show followers, following, favorite routes, and completed routes. They do not replace a journey’s own Public / Private setting.

Set planner defaults

Your profile includes distance units, vehicle type, fuel or electricity price amounts, and a default starting location. Review these before reusing them for a new trip.

Currency is a separate browser preference. The account stores price amounts without a currency field, so check the currency on another browser or device. Where no browser choice exists, legacy positive account prices use GBP as the fallback. Choosing a different currency does not exchange the saved amounts.

Clearing site data or using a different browser can remove access to local templates, drafts, and preferences. Export anything you need to keep independently.

Recover or change your password

If you cannot sign in, use Forgot password, enter your account email, and follow the reset message. Check your spam folder if the email does not appear. Request a new reset if the link is expired or has already been used.

To change your password, use the password reset flow. Edit Profile currently manages profile and route preferences rather than passwords.

Delete your account

Edit Profile includes Delete Profile. The deletion page asks you to enter your password to confirm. Treat this as permanent and export any information you need before proceeding.

For access problems, use Troubleshooting or Contact. Do not send your password in a support message.
