Try a sample route

Choose a starting point

You can explore a route or work out a trip budget before creating an account.

  • Sample routes give you ready-made stops for road trips, errands, delivery rounds, and city walks.
  • The Trip toolkit calculates fuel and EV costs and builds a day schedule from the numbers you enter.
  • Create an account to use your personal planner, save journeys, and collaborate on saved routes.

Try a route in a few steps

  1. Open Sample routes and choose an itinerary.
  2. Select See the stops to review its destinations, then Try this route.
  3. Review the addresses in the planner. Change a stop or use Add Another Address to add one.
  4. Select Calculate Route. When directions load, review the map, stop order, distance, and time.
  5. For a route you want to keep in your account, open your personal Route Planner, enter the stops, calculate, and save the journey.

Sample itineraries are starting points. Their stops are real public destinations; directions and access still need checking for your travel date.

Pick your next step

Use the planning guide for travel modes and stop notes, the cost guide for your budget, or the schedule guide to make time for each stop.

There is no payment card required for the current free tools. Mapping results need an internet connection; the toolkit calculates from your own inputs.
